Frequently Asked Questions

are reservations required?

Reservations are not required! We do keep a few tables and bar seats open for walk-ins, but (especially on the weekends) they fill up quickly. If there’s a wait, we’ll get you started with cocktails at one of our waiting areas!

when does your patio open?

Our patio season generally runs from Memorial Day - Indigenous People’s Day. Though we have been known to open on a nice evening before or after.

do you allow dogs on the patio?

We love animals, but. Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs on our patio!

what kind of food do you serve?

Our food menu consists of both small and large plates featuring Peruvian comfort food lovingly crafted by our Chef Rafael Zimmerman.

We source ingredients from farmers and fisherman around southern Maine and forage wild ingredients as much as possible. Specialty ingredients are sourced from local importers to bring the flavors of Peru to you.

The dishes on the menu are very complimentary of one another, and are meant to be mixed and matched and eaten together and shared, just like at home.

is the patio heated?

Yes. There are propane heaters for each outdoor table and a fire-pit for extra warmth (and ambiance!) As long as it’s dry, the patio will be open and heated. If it’s raining, we’ll generally close it down. Feel free to call day-of to find out if we’ll be serving outdoors or not!

do we need a reservation?

While we do keep a few tables open for walk-ins, it’s never a bad idea to make a reservation, especially for parties of 4 or more. We have limited large tables in both of our dining rooms. If you’re more of a try-your-luck type, we’ll do everything we can to get you seated quickly, but know that there might be a wait, especially on the weekends. We’re now taking reservations both indoors, outdoors and at the bar!

Do you offer take-out or delivery?

We offer take out thru the Toast App as well as a link on our Goggle profile!

Where is the best place to park?

There is usually ample street parking on our block, and there is also a free lot across the street that has about 8 spaces. A bit further down Water St. there are two metered lots that generally have plenty of space available.
